As the Catholic Bishops of the United States have observed, "Catholic Social Teaching is a central and essential element of our faith." This series fulfills the eight-hours of instruction required in this area as outlined by the Diocese of Tucson's ministry certification process. The series includes four distinct two-hour sessions: 1) Biblical Sources of Catholic Social Teaching; 2) Ecclesial Foundations and Heroes; 3) Connecting the Dots: Dimensions of Personal and Social Response; and 4) Working for Justice: From Theory to Practice.
Session one (classes one and two) will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020; Session two (classes three and four) will be on Saturday, February 1, 2020. The times are 8:30am to 12:30pm.
